Walking
On holiday in or around Winterberg and don't want to leave your dog alone for too long? My personal dog walking service is the answer. While you head for the slopes, I make sure your loyal companion enjoys a good walk.
- Your dog is walked individually, with full attention.
- On request, I combine the walk with a bit of training.
- Suitable for all dogs that can walk calmly on a lead.

From €25 per walk with one dog. Multiple dogs at a reduced rate. This rate applies within Winterberg; outside Winterberg the usual travel costs apply. Other wishes are always open to discussion.
Sitting service
Want to head out but can't leave your dog on its own for long? With my sitting service your dog feels at ease while you enjoy your time worry-free.
- Many dogs are unsettled in unfamiliar surroundings; the sitting service prevents that.
- Sitting is available at my home, in a homely setting, or at your accommodation.
- On request I provide mental stimulation, so your dog is tired and content when you return.
From €25 per hour. This rate applies within Winterberg; outside Winterberg the usual travel costs apply. Pick-up and drop-off service is available. Other wishes are always open to discussion.
Training
Is there something in your dog's behaviour that could be better? I offer personal training for a wide range of behavioural questions:
- Problem behaviour: from fear to barking and pulling on the lead.
- Social behaviour: getting along nicely with other dogs.
- Off-lead: for relaxed walks.
- A strong bond: learn to understand your dog better.
- Other questions: whatever you run into with your dog.
Training is individual and lasts from half an hour to an hour. I match the location to the situation in which the behaviour occurs; guidance at your home is also possible. Where helpful, I bring in my own dogs to practise situations in a controlled way.
From €25 per 30-minute training session with one dog. This rate applies within Winterberg; outside Winterberg the usual travel costs apply. Other wishes are always open to discussion.

I'm Marlissa Schneider, proud owner of two dogs. Animals are my passion. For fifteen years I've run my dog walking service in the Netherlands and given dog training in the Netherlands and Germany — from puppy to senior, with special attention to problem behaviour. Having been a foster family for many years, I have plenty of experience with dogs from abroad and with Border Collies. Now I focus on Winterberg and the surrounding area.
